ITINERARY:

(subject to change without prior notice)

Day 1: Welcome

Your guide welcomes you at the hotel in Siusi at 6 PM, explains the program of the week and distributes the ski passes. Dinner will be an advantage to get to know the rest of the group.

Day 2: Alpe di Siusi - Sella

Short transfer to the Alpe di Siusi. Warm up with some easy descents. Then pass the Sassolungo and cross over to the Val Gardena. After that, you reach the Sella massive and finally Pordoi. Spend two nights in a comfortable mountain inn directly adjacent to the slopes on 2,350 m. Enjoy the marvellous mountains right at your doorstep.

Day 3: Sella

Put on your skis and descend down freshly prepared tracks to the ski areas of Val di Fassa, Campac (2,420 m), Belvedere (2,480 m), and the famous Sella Ronda with exciting variations. If you are courageous, enjoy steep off-piste descents from the Sella plateau (2,890 - 3,150 m), the Val Mezdi, the narrow Val Setus and Val Vules, from the Piz Boè (3,150 m) to Corvara.

Day 4: Marmolada

If the weather conditions allow it, we go up to the top of the Marmolada (3,250 m) by funicular. The wide slopes on the northern face of the Marmolada offer some exciting runs for off-piste skiers. The descent of 14 kilometres with an altitude difference of 1,800 meters is one of the most beautiful tracks in the whole Dolomites area. The last descent of the day leads us to our hotel in the little village Sottoguda (1,250 m) where we overnight.

Day 5: Alleghe - Civetta

Explore this large ski area with over 80 kilometres of tracks, off-piste descents through forests, and cosy ski huts. Overnight in our mountain hotel at the Passo Giau.

Day 6: Cortina d'Ampezzo

Explore the world famous resort of Cortina, site of the 1956 Olympics and part of the annual World Cup ski racing circuit. Cortina is famous for the awe-inspring scenery, and we start skiing from our hotel door along perfectly maintained tracks. Overhead, we see such majestic peaks as the Tofana ( 2,650m), the Cristallo (3,010 m), and Faloria (2,450 m). All of these hide wonderful off-piste valleys for the adventurous to explore with their guides. Après-ski, visit the town of Cortina with its fabulous shops and cosy coffee bars.

Day 7: Alta Badia - Val Gardena

An early start takes us through the Val Gardena to ski the famous World Cup downhill course to St. Christina. Carry on across the valley and up to the Seceda at 2,520 m. From there, take the picturesque 1,300 v.m. run down to Ortisei where you cross the valley once again to take the cable car to the Alpi di Siusi. Those who feel they still need more off-piste have the opportunity to climb up a chute of the Sasso Piatto (45 min) for a final off-piste thrill through deep snow. Spend the last evening in yet another welcoming bar where, over glasses of wine, you can savour the sunset and make plans for the next ski adventure. Overnight in the same hotel as the first night.
